Silk! We visited a silk factory in Suzhou and got to observe the
fine art of silk making! It is amazing and so much fun to think about
how many centuries it has been practiced...and how long ago they had
such sophisticated techniques! It is also a woman's art...the women
were the silk makers throughout China's history.
I think I got these all in order...if they are not I am very sorry...I was trying to capture the process of silk making - it is quite complex!
